Elli Cares has welcomed Lisa Nelson as an advisor to the team.
Lisa spent 14 years at Microsoft, where she co-founded and led M12, Microsoft's venture fund, investing in more than 80 startups around the world. She splits her time between Seattle and Auckland, serves on boards including Spark and Brooks Running, and advises startups and venture funds across the US, New Zealand, and beyond.
Lisa is known for being thoughtful, generous with her time, and deeply committed to supporting female founders. Her interest in Elli Cares grew out of a genuine belief in the problem the company is solving for older adults and their families.
As Elli Cares continues building technology to support an ageing population while preserving independence, dignity, and quality of life, Lisa's experience and perspective add significant value to the team.
